1982年于合肥工业大学地质系地质专业本科毕业;

1984年于合肥工业大学地质系构造地质专业获硕士学位;

19849-19902月在合肥工业大学资源与环境科学系任助教、讲师;

19903-19927月赴英国威尔士大学攻读博士学位,获构造地质专业哲学博士;

199211月至今在ufc赌拳软件任副教授、教授、博士生导师;


000年享受国家政府津沾。

兼任中国地质学会构造地质与地球动力学专业委员会常委;

国家自然科学基金委员会地球科学部专家评审组成员

《地质学报》、《地质科学》编委。




长期从事中国东部巨型的郯庐断裂带研究,涉及该断裂带起源、走滑和伸展、新构造运动、地震活动、旁侧盆地构造等多方面。

近年来开展了郯庐断裂带活动与华北克拉通破坏、与大别—苏鲁造山带造山过程与西太平洋俯冲等动力学关联的研究。还对中国东部变质核杂岩与伸展穹窿开展了深入的研究,探讨了晚中生代伸展活动时上地壳与中地壳的变形规律,分析了伸展变形机制与动力学背景。
